Handling the tough task of addressing all the issues, from his office located in Lajpat Nagar, successfully is the daily responsibility of Mr. Abhishek Dutt, (Municipal Councilor for Andrews Ganj, Ward no.159, New Delhi) who does not need much of an introduction as he has been in active politics since his college days. He understands the issues faced by democratic people of Delhi for has been resolving problems emerging in his Ward.
Abhishek Dutt
Mr. Dutt was born on May 31, 1979 in New Delhi in a Punjabi family with no political background and grew up in a pure Delhi atmosphere. He’s educated from Air Force Bal Bharti School and Shaheed Bhagat Singh College and later on pursued MBA in marketing as well. His keen interest in politics, inspired him towards the Student Politics whilst in the college. He strongly feels that the youth of India can bring revolution in Indian politics.

He was felicitated by the then Municipal Councilor of Madhya Pradesh, Shri Balram Jakhar for his efforts and contribution towards under-privileged children and also by for former Indian cricket captain Kapil Dev for the benefaction towards Khushi, an NGO for children. His political odyssey started right from the day he won the Central Councilor Election of Delhi University in the year 1997-98, and never looked back. Today, he is a Municipal Councilor for Andrews Ganj, Ward no.159, New Delhi. He won the Andrews Ganj ward seat, which was held by opposition party for last 30 years.

He believes in the welfare and felicity of people and this belief has made him organize numerous medical camps and charitable, religious, sporting and cultural events in Delhi and Gwalior.

Former President and the Missile Man of India Sri APJ Abdul Kalam also felicitated his latent talent for executing audio re-enforcement for the World’s Largest Theatre Production: “The Legend of Ram—Prince of India” directed by Aamir Raza Hussain, who revisited the epic Ramayana using a modern lexicon.

He is a suave person with simplicity, strong commitment and beliefs in Indian cultural values, society and ethos. He is committed towards the welfare of society and its prosperity. Abhishek has been undertaking numerous responsibilities for and on behalf of Indian National Congress Party.
